Our Podcast: Life as an MCMS Student

Process: We completed the podcast by using many steps. The first step that we did was go to a website called Audacity. On that website is where we recorded our podcast. The item that we used to record ourselves was a microphone called Snowflake. Then we got ready to record our podcast. We were coming up with different ideas for our intro and then we had the perfect idea. Our idea was to say, "3 2 1 and we are live." then say our names and the rest of the intro to the podcast. We decided to talk about the lives of students here at MCMS. We wanted to talk about our own first so that was why we decided to talk about ourselves in the first episode. For the other episodes we decided to bring in some students to talk to them. We talked about music, Beta Club, and how some students in 6th grade year was going. For the last episode we talked about how much we loved doing the podcast and how glad we were to have the opportunity to do the podcast. Once we recorded our podcast, we went in an edited our recording cutting out what wasn't needed. We downloaded the podcast as a WAV file. Now it was time to upload the podcast. We uploaded the podcast hosting site called Podbean. Podbean is a free website for podcasts. We uploaded it there. We uploaded our podcasts by signing in on a school account then we made our profile picture. There was a button that said new episodes so we downloaded our first episode there. It then asked us to name the episode and add a description. We continued to do that until we finished making our episodes. Hope you enjoy our podcast!
