Welcome to Greenwood Middle School
Creators: Balin W, Dennis S, Preston P, Hunter R, and Mason W
Main Features in our build:
Concrete: We used concrete because it is a useful block and is used mostly everywhere in modern-day life. It is also a renewable resource and we have a abundance of it. Concrete can be found in a lot of places around us and if your really looking for it you will probably be able to find it. We specifically used white concrete. We used it for the floors and for some decoration.
Wood: Wood is both a renewable resource and very VERY easy to be found in a jungle. Because we live in the jungle we use wood and have a lot of it. We also use wood because wood is in the name: Greenwood and although it isn't green it is still wood. Wood is also a renewable resource. We used oak wood planks for most of the school.
Candles: We used candles for a light source. We used it because it is a renewable source and it is easy to find. It is made of man-made wax. We keep them litten during school hours and replace them all once a week. They help keep the school lit and smelling good.
Lanterns: Lanterns are the second lighting source we used. They are also the most common one that we had almost everywhere. We hung them up on the ceiling. They mainly were used for lighting up the hallways. The lanterns are our primary light source
