Ailey Strong: Logo Design

Hagan & Stone Wholesale is a family company and it is located in Tompkinsville, Ky. Also Bowling Green Steel and Ocoee Steel is a family company and Bowling Green Steel is located in Bowling Green, Ky, and Ocoee Steel is located in Cleveland, Tennessee. This company was created by my great grandfather Gene Hagan and Mr.Stone. Mr. Stone passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 1983 and the Hagan family purchased the assets of all allied corporations on February 9, 1988. My great grandfather passed away in 2015 and the business went to my grandfather Stephen Hagan. The reason I chose this specific company was because when I was younger I saw how much dedication my grandfather was to his company.  With this logo I wanted to inform people about this company so they can buy building supplies for their homes, buildings, barns, ect. In the real world this logo can be used so people know who to call and get building supplies. People can access their website to see what they're looking for. 

 Steps in the Process: 

• First I decided what project I wanted to create: Logo Design

• Then decided what technology to create my logo: Canva 

• I chose to create a logo for my family’s company: Hagan & Stone 

• The colors I used were Green, Gray and Black because Rebar is black and that is what they sell the most, my grandfather’s favorite colors are green and gray.

• Then I researched what the company does to know what would attract people to their work.

• To get my final product I wanted to include what they do but what people want to look for in a company that sells building supplies is reliable to use for your house or another project.
