Is Progress Always Better?
While this unit is VERY MUCH about actual technology, due to our modern and ever widening remote world; technology, at its roots, is about PROGRESS.
AND Progress comes from pioneers, people who are willing to be adventurers and innovators, risk takers and dream chasers. They are leaders in their field, and their mission is based in change and/or progress.
Early settlers embodied this definition as they came to America in search of religious freedom and a new life for themselves.
Since then, America has been a symbol for new beginnings, and it has been and continues to be the pioneers that create those beginnings. (Cue fireworks)
However it's always up to us, the people, to ask if the progress serve us, or if we serve the progress.
