Passive solar tracking for concentrated photovoltaic system
Project title: Passive solar tracking for concentrated photovoltaic system
Position: PhD candidate
Benefits:
100% tuition fee waiver
RM2,850 monthly stipend for 42 months
Supervisors: Dr. Chan Ping Yi
Project Description:
Beam steering consists of lens array to redirect light rays from varying directions to a fixed direction. It allows the tracking of the sun with relatively small movement of the lens arrays compared to other solar trackers. In this project, we are interested in exploring the applicability of passive actuation mechanism for beam steering in concentrated photovoltaics.
