About Me
There are times when we live the questions, and times when we live the answers. Because change is the only constant, learning to meet the unknown with curiosity can be one of the most empowering parts of the therapeutic journey. Beyond the professional aspect, I see therapy as an evolving conversation, and in the story you bring to sessions, the goal is to create a space where you feel valued and able to explore what you want or need from therapy in a way that is affirming and tailored to your situation. I strive to be open and honest about what I know and how I work, collaborating with you to make the most of our time together. In other words, I hope to help facilitate the steps you are already taking and support you in growing richer in the areas of life you most want to develop.
I am a Commerce graduate who grew up at the heart of my family business, where my career journey taught me the value of non-linear paths. Navigating questions about direction, grappling with familial expectations, and juggling multiple roles can create a profound sense of groundlessness. Being raised in a bicultural (Chinese-Indian) household further deepened my curiosity and respect for the many ways people experience the world. Within an ever-evolving social context, this curiosity and respect for diverse experiences underpin my approach to counselling. I aim to remain responsive and attuned, tailoring my support to what is most relevant and helpful to you at each stage of your journey.
