About Me
Hi there, I’m Sean! Growing up, I’ve always been drawn to roles that involve helping others. Being able to ease someone’s pain, whether physical or emotional has always brought me a deep sense of fulfillment. I didn’t start out in counselling; I was trained in physiotherapy. But along the way, I realised that healing isn’t only physical. So much of what people carry is emotional and unseen, it is deep, heavy, and at times, overwhelming. My own life experiences have shaped the way I understand people and pain, teaching me humility, resilience, and the importance of having someone who truly listens. Over time, these experiences led me to pursue counselling, a path that allows me to offer the kind of presence and solace I once learned was so important.
As a counsellor, I see myself as someone who walks alongside my clients rather than trying to lead or “fix” them. I believe real change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest, without fear of judgment or pressure. I value empathy, collaboration, and gentle honesty. My hope is to create a steady and supportive space where clients can untangle their thoughts, sit with difficult emotions, and reconnect with their own strengths. More than anything, I want the people I work with to feel understood and less alone in whatever they are going through.
