About Me
Hi! I’m Aubrey (my friends call me Bree), an international student from the Philippines and the first in my family to pursue a degree abroad. While I may come across as introverted at first, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and having honest conversations, whether it’s about everyday life or the deeper, more complex things we carry.
I’m the eldest of two siblings, so I understand the quiet pressure of having to figure things out and lead by example, even when I’m still figuring it out myself. Before entering the field of counselling, I explored various paths including accounting, engineering, and human services. Because of this, I relate deeply to anyone still navigating who they are and what they want to become.
In session, I bring my sense of humour and light-heartedness when it feels right, but I also know how to hold space with care, professionalism, and respect. I’ve completed workshops and Level 1 training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and I’m passionate about integrating different therapeutic approaches to meet each person’s unique needs. I believe counselling should never be one-size-fits-all.
If you’re looking for a space where you can be real, heard, and not feel judged, I’d be honoured to be that person for you!
