Students who have been admitted to YIJC through the Joint Admission Exercise (JAE) will have to submit their preferred subject combinations by 6 Feb 2026 (Fri) 0830hr.
This subject information site serves to provide information to help you decide on your subject combination.
Important dates for Subject Registration
Use the following link to access the portal to register for the subject combination.

Login ID and Password: Refer to the ICT info sheet provided to students on first day of school
Go to “Curriculum” > “Course Registration” and complete the registration process.

ADVICE ON THE SELECTION OF SUBJECT COMBINATIONS
We strongly encourage students to consider their choices based on a good understanding of one’s passion and aptitude to meet their educational or career aspirations.
Students are encouraged to choose three H2 subjects and one H1 content subject based on the following considerations:
Student’s strengths and interest.
Student’s foundation for the relevant subjects. Students should consider
If their O Level subject combination meets JC’s subject eligibility criteria and Indicative Grade Profile.
If the intended A Level subject combination meets the University IGP and specific courses’ admission criteria.
If they can attain the A Level results required to enter the university course of choice.
Students posted to the science or arts stream can select science or art subject combinations as part of their choices. If the subject or subject combination is oversubscribed, students will be selected based on merit based allocation. The College may not be able to offer a subject to all the students who have opted for it. In the event that there is insufficient subscription for a particular subject or subject combination, the college reserves the right not to offer that subject or subject combination.
SELECTION TEST
Selection test for H2 Computing will be conducted on 5 Feb 2026 at 1015hr - 1215hr.
Interested students will be informed of the test venue on after registering for Selection Test.
Student should submit the registration for selection test via the following link by 5 Feb 2026, 0830hr.
