Choosing my subject combination
How do I begin this process of decision making?
Here are the factors to consider when choosing your subject combination
Does your O-level subjects provide the assumed knowledge for the H2 subject?
Can your future A-Level results are able to meet the university course's Indicative Grade Profile?
Does your A-Level subject combination meet the university courses' pre-requisites?
Your interests, strengths and passions
Final reminders
Students should be prepared to accept a subject combination that may not be their ideal choice (choice 1 and 2) eventually as places are awarded based on merit.
All students are encouraged to do H1 or H2 Math as Math is essential for both Science and Arts courses. Students who do not do H1 or H2 Math will have a limited choice of university courses.
What is most important is that you choose a subject combination that is suited for you and it is a combination that you can achieve success in.
