Students worked collaboratively to produce multimodal texts in the form of posters and comic strips to raise awareness and educate students on Man’s impact on the environment. Using iPads, they worked together to research a topic which they had chosen as a team and decided on a mode of representation (poster or comic strip). 

In the wind turbine workshop, students were given the opportunity to apply concepts on energy conversion by designing and creating a pinwheel with a motor and LED attached to it. If the pinwheel is efficient in collecting wind, the LED would be able to light up steadily. Students were encouraged to try different designs to make their LED light up as steadily as possible.
