PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE

Percussion Ensemble is new CCA here at Pei Tong Primary School! Percussion is an up and coming Performing Arts CCA that many schools are participating in due to its popularity of beats and rhythm in music!

Students will learn to play an instrument, be it pitched or unpitched. Students without any musical background are welcomed as instructors and teachers will guide and teach every individual and learn some music theory. All members are also be given the opportunity demonstrate Values In Action (VIA) to perform at the old folks homes, the public as well as school events such as Teachers' Day and Recognition Day. 

As they progress, they will form or join the core team and get to play at SYF (Singapore Youth Festival) and other competitions. 

Our Percussion Ensemble CCA will demonstrate good character strengths such as discipline and perseverance and values such as integrity, respect, and teamwork through playing the instruments.
