Badminton

The Badminton CCA aims to provide our students with the opportunity to learn basic badminton skills. It also hopes to allow students who have the potential to further excel in the game and to grow their passion.

There are two groups of players in the CCA, the recreational group and the school team. During CCA sessions, students in the recreational group work on the basic skills and proper techniques of playing the game and play for recreational purposes. Students who show potential are selected for the school team for advanced training in order to prepare themselves to represent the school in the Zonal Championships and other external competitions.

Badminton is one of the more popular CCAs in Pei Tong. While we seek to allow our students to choose a CCA of their interest, we have a quota on each intake to ensure meaningful and safe CCA sessions for our students. We aim for our players to be provided with adequate guidance and meaningful support to grow in confidence, passion, and skill in the sport.
