Request for Change of CCA Application

Students are strongly encouraged to remain in the same CCA till graduation in Primary 6 to cultivate better skill development and appreciation for the chosen activity. 

However, students new to their CCA (less than 1 year in their first CCA) may apply for a request to change their CCA during the stipulated application period. Students should speak with their current CCA teacher to share their concerns before applying. Do note that applications will be considered on a case-to-case basis. 

The application will only open online for the follow groups of students during the application window period as follows: 

2025 Change of CCA Application Period

• P3: Term 4 Wk 1&2 - Results by end of Sem 2, half a year into their CCA: (change of CCA is for the next year, P4 onwards)

• P4: Term 2 Week 1&2 - Results by end of Sem 1, one year into their CCA (change of CCA for Sem 2 onwards)

New Pei Tong students in any level may apply for change of CCA in Term 2 or Term 4 if they within a year in their CCA (e.g. if they join in P4 Term 1, they may apply for change in P4 Term 4.

P5 and P6 students are not permitted to change CCA, unless due to medical reasons. The application window period may not apply for urgent medical reasons but needs to be supported with valid documents. Please inform the teacher in-charge of your current CCA. 

CCA Change Process for Students:

1. Students should consult with their current CCA Teacher before requesting for a change of CCA, providing a compelling valid reason.

2. Students should discuss and inform their parents to provide a valid reason for requiring a change of CCA. 

3. Parents are to submit the online Change of CCA Application Form during the application window period*. No extension of deadline is permitted.

4. Students must continue attending their current CCA during the application process unless otherwise informed.

5. During the process, students may be interviewed or required to attend selection trials.

6. Change of CCA is also subjected to available vacancies in the requested CCA.

7. Students will be informed of the application outcome before attending their new CCA, if successful.

Do note records of previous CCA changed within the same year will be not be reflected in student’s yearly report.

*The online form does not apply for urgent medical reasons. Please inform the CCA teacher in-charge.
