All CCAs take turn to participate in a yearly Values-in-Action (VIA) outreach with elderly, in partnership with community partners such as Fei Yue Active Ageing Centre and St Luke's Eldercare. Selected CCA students design and lead simple activities using the Design Thinking framework, interact meaningfully with seniors from our partner organisations, and put the school’s H.E.A.R.T. values into action.
Each May, the school holds a meaningful ceremony to honour the contributions of our P6 CCA leaders as they step down, and to welcome the new P5 junior leaders taking on leadership roles. During the ceremony, the P6 leaders reflect on their journey and share encouraging messages with their juniors. CCA teachers then present the P5 leaders with their CCA badges, symbolising their new responsibilities. The ceremony concludes with a prayer by our Principal, marking the start of a new chapter of service and leadership.
Each year, our P5 students take part in a CCA exchange with PLMGS (Secondary) for CCAs shared across both schools. Through joint activities and conversations, students share their CCA experiences, learn from their seniors, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the PL family.
In addition, several of our CCAs, such as Badminton, Rope Skipping, and Choir, also organise and host inter-school exchanges. These platforms provide students with valuable opportunities to interact with peers from other schools, broaden their perspectives, and deepen their passion for their CCA.
