The English Language, Drama, and Debate Society aims to nurture a love for language through engaging and meaningful experiences. Through a variety of mediums and developmental programmes, students are exposed to the richness and power of the English language, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Our CCA provides students with opportunities to participate in debate competitions, where they hone their reasoning, persuasion, and public speaking abilities. In addition, literary programmes immerse students in diverse texts, encouraging them to appreciate the nuances of storytelling and the art of expression.
The drama component further allows students to explore the performative aspects of language, enhancing their confidence and teamwork as they bring stories to life on stage. Together, these experiences empower students to develop a deeper appreciation for the English language while cultivating skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their learning journey.
