In SJC, we seek to create a welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds, and build positive relationships between students, and with their teachers. Having this supportive community allows all students to thrive and meet challenges with courage, secure in the belief that they have a a network of peers and trusted adults to help them achieve their personal goals.

School and Cohort Activities

Throughout the school year, activities are planned to develop positive character traits, create shared memories and foster school spirit. Cohort-wide activities are also cater to the girls' needs and interests according to the stage of their school journey:

Sec 1s - Camp Spirito

Our Sec 1 girls traded their classrooms for the great outdoors three days of adventure and fun. From hiking and kayaking, to archery tag, the camp activities were designed to build the girls’ self-confidence in unfamiliar environments.

Sec 2s - Camp Challenge

Through hands-on workshops and learning journeys, our Sec 2s explored different growth industries in Singapore. They also found out more about their strengths and interests, and how these benefit the community.

Sec 3s - Camp Metamorphosis

To help our girls cope with the demands of Upper Secondary life, the programme for Camp Metamorphosis is focused on enhancing mental wellness, and strengthen skills to help them lead themselves and support each other.

Sec 4/5s - Aspirations Challenge

Aspirations Experience prepares our Sec 4/5 girls for the next step in their education journey - including presentation and interview skills workshops and games to help them reflect on their unique strengths and personalities.

Class Activities

On a daily basis, our classmates are the ones we spend the most amount of time with. In SJC, time is set aside for each class to conduct bonding activities and built positive relationships with each other, and with their teachers.
