The Eco Club CCA gives opportunities for students to engage in projects and events for eco-stewardship.
Our focus is on Sustainable Living and Resilient Future, two of the pillars of Singapore Green Plan 2030. Students explore environmental issues, have hands-on experience in group settings and express their discoveries through a variety of CCA activities.
This year, we have something to look forward to every school term:
Term 1: Edible vegetable harvests
Term 2: Reduce, re-use and recycle plastics
Term 3: Energy sustainability
Term 4: Edible plastics
Our regular Tuesday CCA sessions include:
harvest of edible plants from hydroponics and VegePod set-ups
maintenance of recycling points including the Recycling Nook
contribution of food waste to Food Digesters to make compost for plants
We also offer an optional Friday afternoon session on ad-hoc basis for CCA students to serve the school in environment events and projects. All notifications on CCA dates will be sent in advance via PG.
We're looking to guide students in the following 21st century competency skills:
confidently communicate and present information slides
take turns to respectfully listen to one another's opinions in group work
accept more than one way of solutions to solve a problem
Come join us if you think you are up for the challenge!
