Class is typically divided into four sections: instant activity, lesson introduction, lesson activity, and review.
Students are usually eager to start moving, so we often begin with an instant activity for approximately five minutes.
While stretching, we review the previous lesson and introduce today’s lesson. The lesson runs twenty minutes, focusing on fitness, nutrition, sportsmanship, knowledge and skill development for individual and team sports, as well as recreational activities.
Closure includes reviewing today’s skill or knowledge objective.
