🎒Back to School🏫
The 3rd and 4th graders had a wonderful first three days of school! We spent time getting to know one another, building our classroom community, exploring supplies and learning the routines and expectations that will help us have a successful year together.
Students also began thinking about who they aspire to be this year, both as learners and as members of our community. We were especially grateful to spend lots of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather!
We are off to a fantastic start and are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and joy at UCS!

**Please help your child remember their sneakers on P.E. days.
Home Folders 🏠
Each student has recieved a home folder that should travel back and forth to school each day. Students will bring important communcations home in their folders, so please check them daily. Also, please send back notes or completed forms in your child's home folder.

PTO Welcome Back Picnic
Classroom Treats
On occasion, we might give students trident gum, tic tacs, lifesavers mints, hot cocoa, popcorn, or hershey's milk chocolate for something fun. As part of the district health protocols, we need to notify you of this. Please reach out to me if your child will need to opt out of this.

September 2nd: PTO Welcome Back Picnic (More info to come later this month)
September 4th: NO SCHOOL
September 7th: NO SCHOOL -> Labor Day
September 9th: Student Early Release Day (2 hours earlier)
September 21st: NO SCHOOL -> Yom Kippur
September 24th: Student Picture Day
