There are 3 events coming up:
Jan 21st (Tues.) from 5:00 - 7:30 pm (SENIORS ONLY; NOT TRIO Supervised)
Feb. 27th (Thurs.) from 5:00 - 7:30 pm (TRIO Supervised)
Apr 3rd (Thurs.) from 4:45 - 7:30 pm This event is at AeroTEC (TRIO Supervised)

Transportation will not be provided for the first two STEM Nights, so students are welcome to stay after school until it is time to go and we will all walk over to Garden Heights Elementary together. Students will need to be picked up from there. TRIO staff will only be supervising the February & April events.

Dinner will be provided on each recruitment day!

Here is an awesome volunteering opportunity for juniors/seniors. Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation is hosting an annual fundraiser during which they will serve dinner and have a silent auction.
Please note: TRIO staff will not be supervising at this event and students must provide their own transportation to and from the event. Below are listed the volunteering jobs and the time commitment:
4 Silent Auction Helpers: pull bid sheets and run paperwork to check in as well as stage items after silent auction closes. | 4pm-9pm on Feb 1st
2 Garbage/Support: manage the garbage in both buildings, roam the event to see if anything needs to be picked up, put away or if anyone needs help. | 4pm-9pm on Feb 1st
TRIO Staff will make final volunteer selections & assignments and notify all those who apply by January 28th!

The event is from 3 pm - 5pm, however, volunteers will need to arrive an hour early at 2 pm to help set up.

While TRIO UB is not supervising or sponsoring this event, to sign up as a volunteer, TRIO students must get in contact with TRIO Staff who will connect you to TRIO's Buddy Walk liaison.
Again, those who volunteer will need to provide their own rides to/from the event.
