After a letter writer has agreed to write you a letter of recommendation (LOR), follow up with an email with important information that will make the writing process easier for them.
Below are two templates. The left is the "Request for Letter of Recommendation" which should be filled out based off your unique experiences that you would like the letter writer to include in the LOR. Provide this request with your follow up email or in-person request.
The right is a follow-up email template after the letter writer has agreed to write you a LOR. Personalize it and include relevant information such as the deadline, your résumé, and transcripts.
