Write your child's name (or have them write it if they are able) and go over it with Elmer's glue. Then sprinkle salt over top and shake off the excess (like glitter). Allow the glue to dry. Paint it with water colors, food coloring in water or watered down paint. You can also make other pictures using this method, like Easter eggs or a landscape picture.
