Mary Lou Greim, 71, believes her prayers were answered two years ago when Trish Guarino, 47, became her sidekick to help care for her husband of 48 years, Bill, 78, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

“She’s like an angel sent from heaven,” Mary Lou said.

Trish moved in with the couple in April after separating from her husband of 25 years. She has her dream life working as a fitness trainer and spending her days caring for, as she said, her chosen family.

“They’re my best friends,” Trish said, “I’ll live with them here forever -- until all three of us can no longer live together.”
