Boren Bear Pen Pals

Commitment

If you sign up, you agree to have an elementary school student assigned to you.  You will be required to follow a schedule to exchange letters regularly.  At the end of the semester, you will attend a special pep rally at MHS where you will meet your Boren Bear.  It is customary to do a gift exchange with your Boren Bear during the pep rally.

Sign Up

If you wish to sign up to be a pen pal to a Boren Bearn, the deadline is Thursday, January 15 by 3 PM.  To sign up, just make sure you complete the following steps:

1. Fill out the Google Form

2. Join the group Band

Schedule

• Thursday, January 15:  Deadline to sign up

• Wednesday, February 4 at 10:30 AM: Pick up letters from Boren Bears in the cafeteria during Advisory

• Wednesday, February 11 at 10:30 AM: Deadline to turn in letters; bring to cafeteria during Advisory

• Wednesday, March 11 at 10:30 AM: Pick up letters from Boren Bears in the cafeteria during Advisory

• Wednesday, March 25 at 10:30 AM: Deadline to turn in letters; bring to cafeteria during Advisory

• Wednesday, April 8 at 10:30 AM: Pick up letters from Boren Bears in the cafeteria during Advisory

• Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30 AM: Deadline to turn in letters; bring to cafeteria during Advisory

• Wednesday, May 6: Pick up letters from Boren Bears in the cafeteria during Advisory

• Friday, May 15: Pep Rally for Boren Bears at MHS with gift exchange
