College & Career Visits

Admin Approval

If you are wanting to take a college visit during the school day, you must have admin approval.  Please use the necessary form below and be sure to have it submitted to your admin within three school days of your visit to have your absence coded as a "College Visit."  Note that you will only be allotted two college visits and two career visits approved for the entire school year.  Also note that these absences, so long as they are approved by admin, do NOT count against exemptions.

National Day of Testing

National Day of Testing is scheduled for October 15, 2025.  Many seniors choose to take a college visit on this day.  However, again, they must have pre-approval for the absence to be coded as a "College Visit."  Please use the form below.

The College Tour Series

Seniors are encouraged to take advantage of their college visit days. However, we realize it isn’t always possible to visit every college or university. With that in mind, MHS counselors would like to share The College Tour.  This series tells the story of colleges and universities around the world. Each episode of  The College Tour focuses on a single college or university. From campus life, academics, housing, sports, activities, and much more!  Each student-driven segment gives the audience an inside look at what it’s truly like being a student at the featured college or university.
