Please be sure to check the spelling of your first, middle and last name in Skyward. Your name should match what is listed on your Birth Certificate or any updated legal documents. This will be used to print your diploma and will appear on your final transcript. If a change needs to be made, please contact your counselor.
Check your mailing address in "FAMILY 1" in Skyward. All final transcripts will be mailed to this address. If the address listed in FAMILY 1 has changed, please send your most recent utility bill with updated address to the PEIMS clerk ChrystalMiller@misdmail.org. If a senior has moved out of district or into another MISD attendance zone, the registrar will update the address and use CYG (Current Year Grad) as the permit code; if they have siblings, the family will need to go to MISD Student Services to apply for a transfer or continuance. Seniors will NOT be penalized if they have moved out of the MHS attendance zone.
Deadline for any address change is May 3, 2027.
A packet that includes (2) separate final OFFICIAL transcripts in sealed white envelopes and 1 UNOFFICIAL transcript for personal use, will be mailed to the FAMILY 1 address in Skyward. These envelopes will have Mansfield High School as the return address in the upper left corner. Transcripts will be mailed around the 3rd week of June.
If attending College (even if you have already been accepted) take one of the OFFICIAL transcripts in the sealed white envelope and add the mailing address for the University. You will then mail the addressed white envelope to the College/University you will attend in the fall. The white envelope containing the transcript will be considered “official” as long as it remains sealed.
If you are NOT attending college, keep the sealed OFFICIAL transcripts for future use.
*Note: The admissions office will not accept the transcript if the white sealed envelope has been opened or seal has been broken on envelope.*
SAT and ACT: These scores will need to be sent to the college of your choice directly from your College Board or ACT account. MHS will not be sending the testing scores with the transcript (most colleges will not accept from the high school).
TCC Transcripts: If you have taken TCC dual credit classes, you must also request a separate transcript from TCC to receive college credit for those courses.
Shot Records: The print shot records, sign into parent skyward account. Choose "Health Info" tab on left. Click "Display Options" and print.
Do not request final transcripts before the mailout as the request will be denied. Colleges understand it takes time to process the final transcripts and will accept them any time over the summer-so don’t feel like you have to take a transcript to orientation.
Students will be allowed to pick up their transcript the day before the mailout. An email will be sent to the students’ MISD email account with the pickup date. Since students will be graduates and most over the age of 18, parents will not be able to pick up the transcript for the student. Instructions on how a graduate can designate a parent/guardian for transcript pickup will be included in the email sent to them with the pickup date. Transcripts will not be available before the designated pickup date-NO EXCEPTIONS.
You may request additional transcripts once the mailout has been completed. The request may take up to 48 hours to complete. There is a charge of $2.00 per transcript. Once the student is a graduate, only the student can request their records-parents may not.
*Keep in mind, you will need to use your personal email since the school issued email will be disabled.
The link and QR code for additional transcript requests will be included in the packet mailed to your house with final transcripts.
Once grades have been finalized, the transcripts will be audited by the district PEIMS office to ensure all graduates have satisfied state graduation requirements (this takes place after June 3rd). Once completed, the graduation seal will be added to transcript.
Next, final GPA and Ranking calculations will be performed for each student and added to transcript.
Transcripts will then be printed, folded and stuffed into envelopes in preparation for mailing.
This is a tedious process and requires attention to detail, which takes time. Please be patient as we complete this process for each graduate.
To request transcripts throughout the year, please complete the transcript request form. You are allotted ten (10) free transcripts before graduation. After you have reached your free allotment, each additional transcript is $2.00. Please note that transcripts requested throughout the year, before the official transcript mailout in the summer, are the NOT final, official transcripts needed by colleges and universities.
