Follow these steps for quick troubleshooting of Student Chromebooks

SSO Button
Student devices get disconnected from the network after timing out or having the lid closed. This reconnects the device to the network for sites that are regular "apps" on Clever.

Turning Off & On WiFi
Go to the bottom right of the Chromebook screen,
click where the WiFi symbol is (looks like pie piece). Click MPS-Chrome Wifi button. Switch off WiFi. Turn back on after a moment. Be sure to reconnect to MPS-Chrome.

Student - Clearing Chromebook Cache
Go to the extension bar on top of the Chrome Browser,
find Gopher for Chrome (may be buried in the gray puzzle piece). Click Clear Cache. This will fix certain problems the device may be facing for students.

Wipe / Re-Enroll - when students have filled the capacity of the Chromebook or it is just not functioning properly at all, follow these steps to do a factory reset. This will delete all of the local files saved to the device. Try the steps above before this step.
Sign out of your Chromebook.
Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
Select Restart.
In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue.
Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account.

Clearing the Cache - Educator Devices
When teachers log in they can clear the cache by going to the 3 dots, select More tools, select Clear browsing data, and decide how far back you need to clear. Select Clear Data
