My Path (computer-based) is considered an extension of the Core when used alone. My Path is not a replacement for district adopted core materials. For Grades 1-8, students are able to log in and complete lessons based on their Diagnostic Assessment data. Additionally, teachers are able to assign lessons or assignments based on individual needs. Whether it be for students who are near grade level or who have already mastered standards, students are able to receive "just in time" support or reinforcement (challenge).
When My Path is combined with the required Teacher-Led Targeted Instruction for Tier 2 (Tools for Instruction), My Path is a fantastic way to not only scaffold and differentiate for all students, but also for intentional use of intervention (remediation or acceleration). For more information, please go to either our Academic Google Site: or to i-Ready's website for videos.

The i-Ready Teacher Toolbox is a standards-aligned, digital collection of research-based instructional resources for Grades K–8. In MPS, K–5 teachers use it to teach i-Ready Classroom Mathematics, our Tier 1 resource. The Teacher Toolbox provides digital access to all instructional resources associated with i-Ready Classroom Mathematics. Within the Teacher Toolbox, a resource called "Tools for Instruction" offer ready-to-use lesson plans to address skill gaps identified by the i-Ready Diagnostic and are used during Tier 2 Targeted Instruction in Reading and Mathematics.
