The MPS School Board met on January 26, 2021 to decide if and when the students would return to in-person learning.
Their decision is tentative based on numerous things that can happen between now and then. They will revisit this discussion again in March. There was not clarification on these dates being hybrid or fully in person. Here are the dates discussed listed by grade bands (a phase in approach):
K-2: April 12th
3-8: April 19th
9-12: April 26th
We will try to keep you informed as we get additional information. Please note that the discussion and action around Special Education students does not impact Curtin or any of our students.

The student's username is the student's ID number that begins with the letter S. The password is their birthday in the following format: DD/MM/YY (unless otherwise changed by the district). If you do not know what your child's ID number is, please contact your child's teacher or the main office.

Go to the MPS homepage and click on the “Students” tab. Click on the “Student Toolbox” to access Clever.
Download the Remind App on your smartphone. You will be asked to create an account. Please use your name on the account as it is easier for staff to identify parents not the students. Once your account is activated, you can join a class. Please use the following class codes to join your child’s homeroom:

Every classroom teacher has a tab on this Google Site where they post the schedule for each week. If you would like a copy emailed to you, please let your teacher know.
Parent Portal is a system that MPS uses to give parents access to all of their child's information such as grades, schedules, transportation and more!
Every parent/guardian has a unique activation code. In order to obtain yours, please call the office at 414-902-7700 or contact Mrs. Kearns at 414-902-7731 to make an appointment.
Parent Portal accounts have to be reset by Central Office. Please contact Mrs. Kears via email (lensintl@milwaukee.k12.wi.us) with the following information:
The parent/guardian first and last name
The desired username for the account
The desired password for the account
Parent/guardian's current email address
**We recommend selecting a username and password that is commonly used by the account holder. That way, the information is easier to remember**
