Attendance is taken at each Google Meet, both whole and small group.
Parents will be contacted if Google Meet is missed.
Punctuality is important- be on time, be present (video on, mic muted) throughout entire presentation.
Absenteeism is not an excuse for late work. If you miss a Google Meet it is your responsibility to find out what assignment was given and when it is due.

Full Disclosure: During our meeting time, I will receive a report of students’ online activity via “Go Guardian” each day. Please remember this when making choices, and then make the right one!
Grades are based on standards. Students should expect to submit assignments more than once, using feedback to improve their work. Once students reach proficiency, advanced work will be provided. Parents and students are strongly encouraged to check the Google Classroom (via weekly email) and Infinite Campus on a regular basis to view the most current grades for EVERY class/subject.
Arrive on time and attend the entire class.
If you are late, try to catch on to what we are doing. If you have a question about what you missed, wait a bit after-class or ask your classmates in the chat.
Keep your camera ON and your audio OFF.
Only turn on your mic if you are going to respond or ask a question.
Avoid distractions and do not be a distraction to others.
You are still a part of a learning community.
Use the chat to only pose relevant comments or questions.
Chat is an extension of our educational environment.
Use appropriate language.
This is still a classroom.
Show respect for your peers as we don’t want to make anyone feel unsafe or unwelcome.
All students deserve respect and the opportunity to learn.
Practice empathy.
This is not easy for anyone; be patient and be kind.
To make it simple, whatever conduct is desired in the classroom is also desired during virtual class. Whatever conduct a student should avoid in the classroom is also to be avoided during virtual class.
