Week 21 January 25 - 29
Reading - We are continuing to look at informational text. We are beginning our look into a story called Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. Our focus will include vocabulary and the concept examining information in the story. We will also be looking at identifying the parts of plot.
Math-We are starting our investigation into identifying integers and rational numbers.
Social Studies - We have moved our focus to another continent, Africa. We are first looking at the landforms and climate.
Science- We will continue to look into scientists and Newton's Law of Motion.

Reading - We are continuing to look at informational text. We are continuing to look into a story called Zebra. Our focus will include vocabulary and the concept examining information in the story. We will also be looking at identifying the parts of plot.
Math-We are starting our investigation into perimeter and area.
Social Studies - We have moved our focus to another continent, Africa. We are first looking at the landforms and climate.
Science- We will continue to look into scientists and Newton's Law of Motion.

Student Spotlight
This week I would like to spotlight Joseph. He has been a leader in our classroom. He always has a positive attitude and is one of the students that I can count on to finish all of his assignments. Joseph is always willing to volunteer answers to our questions. Keep up the great work, Joseph!
