Prerequisites: Ceramics & Sculpture

This year-long course is an advanced study of Three-Dimensional form and ceramic techniques, including opportunities for students to build upon their previous knowledge and experience for a deeper and broader understanding of materials and techniques. Students will be introduced to media and techniques in three-dimensional work to prepare them to submit work to the AP Studio Art 3D Portfolio. Students will continue to develop technical skills and be challenged as artists creatively. Students will be introduced to more complex concepts incorporating artistic perception, creative expression, and historical/cultural context, and make connections and relationships to students' interests and future college/career opportunities. This course is recommended to be taken during junior year.
