This course will study the dispersal of African, Hispanic and Latinx peoples and cultures throughout the world, both throughout history and in today's global community.  In this course students will compare and contrast political, economic and social influences in both the eastern and western hemispheres.   Topics will include migration patterns, imperialist influences, cultural contributions and challenges facing these diverse populations.
