Prerequisite: Algebra II


In this senior year course, students will have the opportunity for reinforcement of many of the algebraic concepts and skills addressed in the preceding courses (Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II, and Algebra II) for the purposes of increasing career and college readiness. Topics in the course will include: 

(1) Solving one-variable linear equations

(2) Graphing and writing equations of lines

(3) Finding the slope of a line

(4) Solving systems of linear equations

(5) Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing polynomial expressions

(6) Factoring quadratic expressions.

(7) Adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and simplifying rational expressions

(8) Solving rational equations

(9) Simplifying expressions with rational exponents

(10) Adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and simplifying radical expressions

(11) Evaluating and solving radical expressions and equations

(12) Adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and simplifying complex numbers


Students enrolled in this course will have the opportunity to earn three college credits from Quincy College at a cost of $350 as long as they successfully complete the course with a final grade of C or higher.
