COMPUTER SCIENCE   Honors 20006 2.5 credits 

Prerequisite: Exploring Computer Science, Robotics, or approval of the Math Director

This semester course is designed for those who are interested in learning  how to combine programming with the creativity of e-textiles and graphic- based problem solving.  Throughout this course, you will be introduced to the basics of Python programming language and e-textiles with Arduino. You will learn how to control and program electronic components such as LEDs and sensors. The topics covered include functions, conditionals, loops and variables. This course satisfies the graduation requirement for Technology.


Students enrolled in this course can, upon successful completion, apply the credits toward satisfying the Math or Technology graduation requirements.
