Click on "Wheel Assignments" to find what we worked on in class and what you need to do for homework.
When you think of a wheel, it has spokes or sections on it, right? And a wheel class is just that! It's a class that is broken up into different broad topics that might peak your interest for a possible future career!
The seventh grade wheel is designed to help you apply problem-solving skills. We will explore the topics of physical fitness, health, digital citizenship, environmental studies and practice 21st century skills such as keyboarding (typing) and computer literacy.
Content and skills introduced in one quarter may also be practiced, assessed and applied in additional quarters throughout the school year.
Assessments to determine mastery of knowledge content and skills will be based on a variety of formative and summative assessments.
Aloha! I'm Ms. Miyamae! I have been teaching at Mililani Middle School for the past 18 years. Yes, that's a long time! I'm originally from Southern California, so if you have any connections or stories of your travels there, please feel free to share them with me! I love animals and currently have two dogs, Graycie and Hiku. Graycie is the sweetest, three legged golden retriever and Hiku is a sassy little corgi. I love to do crafty things in my spare time, but my ultimate love is to travel, travel, travel! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you better this year. My favorite saying: Always do your BEST!
