Thank you for taking the time to attend our Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences provide students with a valuable opportunity to take accountability and pride in their learning by sharing their progress and goals with you.
We truly value the partnership between home and school. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions or would like to discuss additional ways to support your child’s success. Parent-teacher collaboration plays an important role in helping every student grow and achieve their goals.
Thank you again for your continued support!
Dear Milan Elementary Families,
It’s hard to believe the first quarter has already gone by so quickly! Thank you to all the families who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences. It was wonderful to see students taking ownership of their learning and sharing their progress with pride. We truly appreciate your continued partnership and support.
As the weather continues to fluctuate, please help your child come to school dressed appropriately for changing temperatures—layers are always a good idea this time of year. Also, please label your child’s items, such as jackets, hats, and water bottles, to help ensure misplaced items can be quickly returned.
We have a few exciting family events coming up this month:
🍓 Muffins in the Morning – October 5 from 7:00–8:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria
🍩 Donuts with Grownups – October 12 from 7:00–8:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria
We hope you’ll join us for these special mornings to connect and celebrate our school community.
With Wildcat Pride,
Mrs. Hoerrmann
Elementary Principal
On October 17, we had seventeen community businesses volunteer their equipment and time to speak with students about different careers. It was an exciting day filled with hands-on learning and inspiration for our future leaders!
To wrap up the month, our district will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week from October 28–October 31st. We’ll be tracking participation for each homeroom, and there will be daily and weekly prizes for students who show their spirit and commitment to making healthy, positive choices!
