Homecoming Parade: 2:30pm - 3:15pm (7th & 8th Grade Band)

7th & 8th grade band students will be dismissed from their classes around 2:10 that day to walk down to the band room and get their instruments ready. We will walk as a big group on the sidewalk to the ELC, where we will line up in our marching band formation. We will march back to the MS, where students will be dismissed to be picked up/walk home/ride the bus.

7th & 8th graders are encouraged to wear "spirit wear" on Friday, but we will ask them to change into their black music shirt at lunch, so they are ready to march when they are dismissed. It's supposed to be warm (80), so they should plan clothing choices accordingly. No face paint, please! 

Pre-Game Performance: 6:15-7:00 pm  (8th Grade Band only)

We are performing with the HS marching band for the football pregame Friday night. They will play 2 songs with the HS, including the Star-Spangled Banner. Please have kids meet in the MS band room at 6:15 to get instruments. We will line up, march with the HS band into the stadium, and perform pre-game around 6:45. 

They should wear Black Music Shirts and "nicer" black or khaki pants.They will be done by 7:00 pm when the football game starts. We will walk back to the MS to drop off instruments and then they can leave. They are allowed to stay and watch the game for FREE if they'd like! Parents will still need to pay to get into the game.
