Jazz is alive and well in Mt. Horeb! Our district has one large MS jazz ensemble, three HS big bands, and a very active jazz combo. We play a variety of concerts and events throughout the year, and perform a wide variety of jazz and jazz-related materials (with an emphasis on swing music).

We have THREE jazz bands at Mt. Horeb High School, along with a handful of student-led jazz combos.
Because of this, would like EVERYBODY to audition this year, but it is a low-pressure situation! We just want to hear you play by yourself.
When do we rehearse?
Tuesday Jazz
Our top jazz ensemble will meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 am
Thursday Jazz
Our second ensemble will meet Thursday mornings at 7:00 am
Friday Jazz
Our third ensemble will meet Friday mornings at 7:00 am
