Born in 1753, Massachusetts farmer, John Adams was one of the most influential members of the American Revolution.
He was an early supporter of the revolutionary cause and was one of the people who pushed George Washington to become head of the Continental army in 1775. John Adams was one of the first vice presidents and he was the second president as well as the first to live in the White House. Him and his wife Abigail Adams had many children, but one of them was John Quincy Adams, He was going to later become the 6th president of the U.S. In 1747 John Adams sent some people over to France to negotiate a treaty, but France requested a bribe, and the deal fell through for the moment before coming to a deal in another way! This later became known as the XYZ affair.
