VANSTON ROBOTICS CHARITIES

PARTNERSHIP WITH SHARING LIFE COMMUNITY OUTREACH

To promote STEM and improve our community, the Vanston Robotics donates portions of their fundraisers to their own established Student School Supply Charity and LEGO for Kids Charity. Their charities are partnered with Sharing Life Community Outreach located in Mesquite, Texas to distribute school supplies and LEGO kits to kids in need of Mesquite ISD.

OUR MISSION

Sharing Life exists to demonstrate compassion by effectively and efficiently providing dignified, benevolent services to families in need in Southeastern Dallas, Rockwall, and Kaufman County.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THAT CHANGE LIVES

Sharing Life exists to ‘Demonstrate Compassion’. Underlying that purpose are the programs and services we offer. From food to utility assistance to educational programs, we strive to meet our clients’ needs. One of our goals is to be a change agent in their lives by encouraging them to improve themselves in every way possible so they have a more positive future.

Student School Supply Charity

The Student School Supply Charity fund provides school supplies for students throughout the school year. This helps to replace or supplement any needed items for students to be successful in school. We purchase school supplies that are suggested by Sharing Life Outreach for kids in Mesquite. In the Spring, these supplies are donated and Sharing Life distribute them to kids in need of school supplies during their annual Back to School Fair.

Vanston Robotics raised $400 for their Student School Supply Charity and donated $400 in school supplies to Sharing Life Outreach for their annual Back-to-School Bash. This will help families that cannot afford school supplies for their children in the Mesquite areas.

LEGO for KIDS Charity

The LEGO for Kids Charity fund provides LEGO kits to children as Christmas gifts. The Vanston Robotics teams hosts an Annual Robotics Tournaments at Mesquite ISD. During this event, we offer a LEGO Christmas Drive for participants and visitors to donate LEGO kits to inspire kids in STEM. In December, these kits are donated to Sharing Life whom distributes them to the kids in need during their annual Christmas Fair.
