The Symposium is a great opportunity for girls to get introduced to the benefits of a STEM degree. UT Dallas is a great supporter of STEM and home to a nationwide leading undergraduate program - Information Technology and Systems.

S.T.E.M SYMPOSIUM FOR GIRLS AT UTD

Experience first hand what it takes to be technical degree holders. Girls attended some exciting sessions, talk to experienced panelists, network with faculty and students. All this capsuled into two days.

iCode Hackathon @ UTD

iCode4kids is a pioneer in hackathons for kids and teens. Participants engage and compete in computer science, engineering and design as they collaborate and devise innovative solutions for given challenges. This year's coders are Gadiel, Christian and Atundo.

Congratulations to the Vanston Coders for being 2nd Place Championship winners in the Cyber Robotics Coding Competition for Texas State Finals in Rockwall this Saturday. You represented Vanston well!

UT Dallas hosted their Hackathon (Hack IT). Students learned to connect and program a IoT Weather Station using weather science. Vanston Engineering 2 students competed against students from multiple school districts and won 3rd place winning $200. Go Vikings!!!
