What does our data tell us about our student's Social Emotional Learning skills?
Use the "Data As Voice" form to determine what students are trying to tell us.
What might students be telling us? "Sometimes I have trouble expressing my feelings in class discussions"
What might students be asking us to do? "I think I need some practice describing my reflections on this week's chapter in reading class so I can participate more in class discussion."
What are 3 possible things we could do to support? As the teacher, I might look at the Social Awareness strategies in the Playbook and pull out a strategy like "To Whom It May Concern" by Move This World, where a student can practice expressing feelings of gratitude in their daily lives.
