AYO PLATFORM
The AYO web platform and mobile app offers students an easily accessible and discreet SEL mood check-in. Students may check in as many times as they'd like during school hours to give educators feedback on their current needs. Based on students' moods, students are suggested correlating self-regulation strategies. Students are also able to request adult assistance for intervention during school hours and are directed to the 24/7 crisis hotline outside of school hours.
LEARN HOW
SELF-REGULATION STRATEGIES
Based on the mood students select, they are suggested various strategies for self-regulation. This helps develop a sense of empowerment to use coping skills to regulate their emotions. While mood check-ins are only available during school hours, these strategies are available to students 24/7 to give real-time feedback to improve their mood. Frequent check ins will help students identify how they feel and receive real time feedback to improve their mood while building a tool kit of self-regulation strategies. These videos are available to students in AYO in English and Spanish and can also be found on YouTube for teaching purposes. Check out samples below.
