Instrument Rental Night - Thursday, August 13

Welcome to the A.C. New Middle School Band family! We’re so excited you’ve chosen to make music with us in the Band of Knights.

To get ready for the new school year, make plans to attend our Instrument Rental Night & Band Instrument Drive:

• Thursday, August 13, 2026

• Parent meeting, 5:00 PM 

• Come and go, 5:15–7:00 PM

• A.C. New Middle School

  • Park in front of the school or near the tennis courts 

  • Enter through the front entrance of the school

  • Follow signs to the cafeteria

Representatives from trusted music stores will be there to help with renting or purchasing instruments. The AC New Band staff will be available to answer questions. Whether you’re brand new band family or are already familiar with the joy of having a student musician, learn everything you need to know about being in band at this event.

Unable to attend? Ready to get started with renting an instrument? 

You can start here visit the websites provided on the INSTRUMENTS page, but you will miss out on promotional opportunities that will only be available that night. 

• Students playing Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, and Percussion are typically rented/purchased by band families

• Students playing Oboe, Bassoon, French horn, Baritone, and Tuba will use school instruments. They will purchase a mouthpiece and other necessary instruments supplies for class.

Renting an instrument may be a challenge for some families, but please reach out—we have solutions to help every student get a band instrument.

Snow Cone Party - Friday, August 28

After school, AC New parking lot. Students who turn in all of their required back-to-school materials and pay for their band shirt will receive a snow cone!

¡Bienvenidos a la familia de la Banda de la escuela A.C. New! Nos emociona que hayan elegido hacer música con nosotros en el Band of Knights.

Para prepararse para el nuevo año escolar, les invitamos a nuestra Noche de Alquiler de Instrumentos:

• Jueves, 13 de agosto de 2026

• Reunión de padres, 5:00 p. m.

• Llegada libre, 5:15 p. m. a 7:00 p. m.

• Escuela Intermedia A.C. New

  • Estacionen frente a la escuela o cerca de las canchas de tenis.

  • Ingresen por la entrada principal.

  • Sigan las indicaciones hacia la cafetería.

Representantes de tiendas de música de confianza estarán presentes para ayudarles con el alquiler o la compra de instrumentos. Los profesores de la Banda de AC New estarán disponibles para responder sus preguntas. Ya sea que su familia sea nueva en la banda o que ya conozcan la alegría de tener un estudiante músico, aprendan todo lo que necesitan saber sobre la banda en este evento.

¿No pueden asistir? ¿Ya están listos para alquilar un instrumento?

 Puedes empezar visitando los sitios web que aparecen en la página de INSTRUMENTOS, pero te perderás las promociones que solo estarán disponibles esa noche.

• Los estudiantes que tocan flauta, clarinete, saxofón, trompeta, trombón y percusión suelen alquilar o comprar sus instrumentos a las familias de la banda.

• Los estudiantes que tocan oboe, fagot, trompa, barítono y tuba usarán instrumentos de la escuela. Deberán comprar una boquilla y otros accesorios necesarios para la clase.

Alquilar un instrumento puede ser un reto para algunas familias, pero no dudes en contactarnos; tenemos soluciones para ayudar a cada estudiante a conseguir un instrumento para la banda.
