Order online from one of the stores listed below. Your new instrument will be delivered to our school.

Go to the store in Rockwall, Garland, or Waxahachie. Talk to a sales rep inside the store and take care of your rental/purchase in the store.

Your monthly payment includes professional setup and repair coverage. You will be able to use this instrument through high school!
We do not exclusively endorse any single business. Families should use the rental or purchase plan that best fits their needs.

Good instruments can be found online, at a pawn shop, or from a family member or friend. However, search carefully because this can be risky! These purchases will not include professional setup, repair policies, or vendor warranties.
Send us a picture or link if you are unsure. We'll let you know if it will work.
Use the Preferred Instrument List as a starting point.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AMAZON, SAM’S CLUB, JCPENNEY, or other department stores.
These instruments are cheaply made and will break quickly and easily.
The cost of repairs will cost more than the instrument itself.
They will limit the development and success of your student.
The prices will look good, but they are not considered a worthy investment.

Band students playing oboe, bassoon, French horn, baritone, and tuba.
Band students using a band instrument provided by Mesquite ISD.
How it Works: Request a school-owned instrument through the Band Director.
Student will receive essential supplies and instrument management. A fee will be paid to the band program, not a music store.
