Dear MJIP Community, 

As we begin the 2025-26 academic year, I am honored to address you as Editor-in-Chief. MJIP is a rigorously managed, interdisciplinary student journal dedicated to supporting undergraduate academic research in political science, international relations, and economics. 

In this era, we aim to make MJIP a truly student-run journal and a respected voice in international academia. Our key priorities include building sustainable links with international student journals and improving academic quality and publication standards to be included in databases of undergraduate student journals. 

To achieve this, we will strengthen review processes and deepen collaboration with academic advisors and alumni. We also commit to publishing two issues a year, featuring original research, book reviews, and exclusive interviews, as well as the “MJIP Compass”, providing accessible content on current global events. 

In its new era, MJIP welcomes submissions from undergraduate students around the world, encouraging them to contribute original, high-quality work that will help us grow as a leading academic platform.
