The MEF Journal of International Politics (MJIP) is a rigorously managed, interdisciplinary undergraduate journal dedicated to supporting academic research and analytical writing in the fields of political science, international relations, and economics.
Published twice a year, MJIP provides a serious and accessible platform for undergraduate students to engage with contemporary political and economic issues in a structured academic format.
MJIP aims to promote high-quality undergraduate scholarship by encouraging original research, critical analysis, methodological awareness, and clear academic writing.
The journal seeks to bridge academic rigor and editorial accessibility, offering students a platform to develop their scholarly voice and contribute to debates in political science, international relations, and economics.

MJIP publishes two issues annually:
Fall Issue: published at the end of December
Spring Issue: published at the end of June
The submission deadlines are announced separately for each issue.
MJIP is managed by an undergraduate Editorial Board with academic supervision. The Editorial Board oversees submissions, editorial coordination, copyediting, publication preparation, and public communication.
The journal is supported by an Academic Advisor and, where applicable, an Academic Council composed of faculty members and alumni who contribute to academic quality, mentorship, and institutional continuity.
Beginning with the 2025–26 academic year, MJIP expanded its submission policy to welcome undergraduate students from Türkiye and abroad. This marks a new stage in the journal’s development as it seeks to become a more inclusive, visible, and institutionally sustainable undergraduate academic platform.
