EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

The school Mare de Déu de l'Olivar II from Alaquàs (Spain) has created and implemented lesson plans and activities in the four levels of ESO (12-16 y. o.), which have been included in the PAT (Tutorial Action Plan). Below you will find some examples of these activities.

• 1ESO (12-13 y. o.): worksheets to work the 8 basic emotions (love/affection, happiness, sadness, surprise, hate, fear, desire and anger) with students.

• 2ESO (13-14 y. o.): a Google form to work empathy (first students must watch a short video with a simple story of empathy and collaboration between a dog and a heron).

• 3ESO (14-15 y.o.): worksheets used in the Optional subject related to Drama and Circus (Projecte Interdisciplinari). Looking at a picture by the photograper Kestesz, students must reflect and answer some questions related to emotions. Then they have to act imaginary scenes related to emotions.

• 4ESO (15-16 y. o.): a Google form to work emotions through the visit the Museum of Emotions, where students will find different works of art from different authors. The selection of the works has been made with the criterion of the expression of emotions.
